What we collect

Account details: your name, email address and password (stored securely, never in plain text). For affiliates also your date of birth. If you withdraw money, your bank name, account number and the account name returned by your bank. We also keep records of purchases, earnings, withdrawals and the courses you upload, including the files and pictures.

How we use it

To run your account, take and confirm payments, deliver downloads, pay earnings, verify your bank account, send emails about your account (such as sign-up codes and withdrawal updates), prevent fraud and answer your messages.

Who handles your data for us

Supabase stores our database and files. Paystack processes payments and checks bank accounts, and we never see your card details. Vercel hosts the website. Google's email service sends our emails. These companies only handle data to provide their service to us.

Cookies and similar storage

We use your browser's storage to keep you logged in and to remember which member's link brought you to a course, for up to 30 days, so that member is credited with the sale. We do not sell your data.

What other members can see

Members cannot see your email, bank details or date of birth. A course page shows the course title, description, price and cover, not who bought it.

How long we keep it

We keep your information while your account is open and for as long as we need it to keep payment and tax records, settle disputes and prevent fraud.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your personal information, or object to how we use it. We handle personal data in line with the data protection law that applies to us, including Nigeria's Data Protection Act where it applies. Contact us and we will respond.

Security

Passwords are hashed, files are private until paid for, and bank details can only be changed after your bank confirms the account. No system is perfectly secure, so use a strong password.

Children

EarnOva is for people aged 18 and over.

Changes

If we change this page we will update the date at the top.
